The primary focus of this role is to deliver high-level Social Work services to patients and families in the Parkwood Low Acuity Accommodation and within the multidisciplinary team.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Social Worker - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Manage a complex caseload with limited access to direct clinical practice supervision and exercise independent professional judgement.Provide high-level clinical advice to professional supervisors, operational managers, relevant service managers, and other relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.Utilise extensive clinical experience and high level of knowledge and skills to provide an efficient and responsive Social Work Service to patients and their families.Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students, and researchers as required.About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers.AHPRA Registration.Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Working with Children Check/Blue Card (GCH will cover cost).Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).Benefits Flexible work options.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Permanent full-time.Base salary ranging from $128,169 - $137,918 per annum.About Us
