Social Worker Or Counsellor - Veterans

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Henderson Healthcare is representing a leading charity providing integrated support programs for veterans and their families, including Psychological Services, Physical Rehabilitation, Social Connection Activities, and Skills for Recovery Programs.
You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to support ADF members and their families by addressing mental, emotional, and behavioural issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct client intake activities including eligibility assessments, intake interviews, and psychosocial assessments.Lead coordination of care through case conferencing and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.Deliver individual and group mental health support and interventions to veterans and their families.Participate in Veteran and Family Wellbeing Centre activities.Develop and deliver health and wellbeing projects and programs.Provide mental health triage and referral support to Liaison Officers and Regional Manager.ESSENTIAL: Relevant qualification.Registration with a certifying body (e.g., Australian Counselling Association or AASW).Experience with social, financial, physical, and/or psychological issues.Proficiency in intake, assessment, and record-keeping.Strong communication skills and computer proficiency.Ochre card and driver's license.TO APPLY:
