An opportunity has become available for a social worker to join the Lochaber Integrated Health & Social Care Team as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for 12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary service which supports adults living within a large remote and rural geographical area with the potential challenges this can present. The post holder will be required to undertake a range of tasks within the social care component of the integrated team, with a particular focus on adult support and protection and adults with Incapacity.
This post will be basedinFort William, and you will be required to provide services across thewhole Lochaber area. A driving licence is essential and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, a pool care is also available.
Applicants should be registered with the Scottish Social Services council on the 'Social worker' part of the register and also hold a qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in social work (DipSW).
