???? About The Role: This is a Fixed Term Full Time (1 EFT) Grade 2 parental leave replacement in the Complex Care Hub and Social Work Department until November 2025.
In this role you will be responsible for providing social and emotional assessment, support and intervention for children and families where issues are identified as impacting on quality of life and outcomes for the child.
What You'll Achieve: Provide high quality clinical care to children and families presenting to RCH with a broad range of complex medical and psychosocial needs Contribute to timely decision making, transition or discharge planning and referral to community providers Support and counselling for vulnerable children and families in crisis situations including trauma, family violence, grief and loss Engage in quality improvement to enhance exisiting Social Work services to patients and families Classification for this position will range from SC21 - SC24 Grade 2 Year 1 to Grade 2 Year 4 (FTE base salary $88,467.60 to $101,691.20 per annum, plus superannuation).

About The Department: The RCH Social Work Department is a growing team of 46.6 EFT and over 65 employees and is the largest Allied Health team at RCH.
