Job DescriptionSpread Joy by joining our Volunteer Team! We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit our client living in an aged care home in Maroubra. He has a deep passion for Aboriginal culture and art, reading the bible, family, reminiscing, and spending time in the garden. He would enjoy meeting someone to visit and have a chat over a cuppa. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •
Ideally, you'll be available one hour per week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week, between the hours of 9am-5pm for a 30-minute visit weekly or fortnightly.
