Who are we looking for? GHD's Stakeholder, Communication, Social Sustainability and Planning teams provide social planning, social impact assessment and social research services to our clients and collaborate with other GHD offices across Australia.
We're now looking for a passionate and committed Social Engagement Consultants at both the senior and intermediate levels as we grow our team.
You will join our Social Planning team and participate in our client-service strategy and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the social sustainability practice and your wider business unit.
Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Developing and delivering best-practice social impact assessments and community infrastructure assessments.Preparing high-quality written communication material including proposals, reports and communication materials.
Provide issues management advice, meeting facilitation and contact database management.Maintain positive client and key stakeholder relationships, and support winning work activities.Support Project Managers and work with the project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes.Identify business opportunities with support from others across the national team and dedicated centre of excellence.What you will bring to the team: Relevant tertiary qualification e.g.
social science, urban/strategic planning, human geography, community development, economic.Between 3 and 12+ years of previous experience in a similar consultancy, advisory or government role.Knowledge and experience using various data sources for social research such as demographic data and planning information.Desktop research including literature review and qualitative and quantitative data analysis.Excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster teamwork and work with multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation.We're open to applications from people based in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns or Darwin who are looking for a part-time or full-time role.
