Who are we looking for?GHD's Stakeholder, Communication, Social Sustainability, and Planning teams provide social planning, social impact assessment, and social research services to our clients and collaborate with other GHD offices across Australia. We're now looking for passionate and committed social engagement consultants at both the senior and intermediate levels as we grow our team. You will join our social planning team, participate in our client-service strategy, and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the social sustainability practice and your wider business unit.
Key Responsibilities:Developing and delivering best-practice social impact assessments and community infrastructure assessments.Preparing high-quality written communication material, including proposals, reports, and communication materials.Providing issue management advice, meeting facilitation, and contact database management.Maintaining positive client and key stakeholder relationships and supporting winning work activities.Supporting project managers and working with the project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes.Identifying business opportunities with support from others across the national team and dedicated centers of excellence.What you will bring to the team:Relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., social science, urban/strategic planning, human geography, community development, economics.Between 3 and 12+ years of previous experience in a similar consultancy, advisory, or government role.Knowledge and experience using various data sources for social research, such as demographic data and planning information.Desktop research includes literature reviews and qualitative and quantitative data analysis.Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster teamwork and work with multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation.We're open to applications from people based in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Cairns, or Darwin who are looking for a part-time or full-time role.
