Mamamia is on the lookout for a Social Producer to join our best-in-class Social team. But first, here's a bit about us. Mamamia is Australia's largest women's media company. Mamamia reaches seven million women each month across our written, video, audio, and social platforms and we have the largest women's podcast network in the world. What we're looking for. As the Social Producer, you will take ownership of a vertical and its associated properties, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook groups, and podcast socials. Collaborating closely with your team, you'll pitch innovative content ideas, manage content calendars, and create captivating, on-brand content that resonates with Mamamia's audience. Acting as the gatekeeper for assigned channels, you'll engage with the community, provide feedback to the content team, and leverage industry trends to refine and enhance content strategies. Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us: Film, edit, and distribute engaging podcast and social media content, including reels optimized for Instagram and TikTok using trending music and effects.Create, curate, and publish high-quality content across social platforms in Mamamia's tone, leveraging social insights to pitch relevant podcast segments.Pitch socially led content series and develop distribution plans for key editorial moments and events.Produce trailers and promotional materials for internal and external opportunities.Manage content calendars, schedules, and production timelines to ensure consistent posting frequency and maximize engagement.Act as a gatekeeper for assigned social media platforms, managing scheduling and content output for optimal performance.Engage with audiences on Instagram and TikTok, fostering community interaction and providing feedback to the content team based on audience insights.Stay updated on industry trends and platform features, incorporating innovative ideas into content strategies.Now, a bit about you. 2-3 years' experience in a similar social media content creator roleDemonstrated understanding of creating content including short-form video for Instagram Reels, Stories, Grid and TikTok.Intermediate to advanced video editing capabilities (ie. Adobe Premiere, Capcut etc)Experience using Hootsuite will be highly regardedAbility to plan and manage competing deadlines and prioritiesStrong communication skills and attention to detailDemonstrated knowledge and interest in podcasts, digital trends, digital media and emerging technologies.Life at Mamamia.
