Gamuda Engineering is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport, Civil and Energy Infrastructure projects.

As part of Gamuda's commitment to expansion, Gamuda Engineering has established offices in Sydney and Melbourne to pursue and deliver a variety of construction projects.
We are currently delivering the $2.16B Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package and have also commenced in joint venture both the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1bn M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package.

We have also been shortlisted for several major transport infrastructure projects in Melbourne and are pursuing other significant opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sectors across Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia.

The Role Responsibilities

As a member of our procurement team you will be working across our pre-contract activities including EOIs and tenders along with projects in delivery you will be responsible for the development and implementation of social procurement frameworks, strategies and practices.
This will include:


Ensuring our frameworks, policies and procedures are being implemented across our tendering and procurement processes.Providing procurement support and guidance to our pre-contract and delivery teams as a subject matter expert.Work closely with our supply chain partners and key stakeholders to ensure social procurement best practices are embedded in our supply chain.Monitor and report on social procurement outcomes and KPIs.Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have experience in procurement or supply chain management supported by tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Administration, Social Science, Sustainability or similar along with:
A sound understanding of managing social procurement outcomes on large and complex government funded projects.An ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and influence positive outcomes.Strong time management skills allowing you to manage competing deadlines.Experience in the construction and engineering sectors and good relationships with key suppliers and partners in these sectors would be an advantage.Gamuda Engineering encourages and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce, including those from overseas, current Visa holders, and candidates from outside the construction and engineering sector.
