About the Project North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of three Alliance partners – John Holland, KBR and MTM and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals. Since 2017, NWPA has had a proven track record with the successful delivery of eight level crossing removal projects (13 LX) and several premium stations, with two projects currently in delivery (4 LX) and three in development phase. About you and the role We have a unique opportunity for a Social Procurement Advisor to join the NWPA project team based in Albion, VIC. We are looking for individuals who possess a creative flair, excel in building strong relationships, and are influential communicators. Break away from your typical office job and fully immerse yourself in a role which will see you actively involved in industry events and off-site meetings, allowing you to create meaningful connections with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Support the Senior Social Procurement Advisor to develop and implement strategies and initiatives for increasing inclusion, diversity and social procurement on the project. Engage and influence senior management and leadership to drive Social Procurement. Monitor and report on initiative progress and outcomes, including recording, collating and analysing data to inform focus areas. Lead the delivery of specific inclusion programs including designing & facilitating professional development workshops. Provide guidance on inclusion and social procurement initiatives for North Western Program Alliance, with a key focus on Indigenous employment and engagement, in supporting industry to achieve mandated targets. Contribute to the development and delivery of team processes, specialist tools, templates, analytics and reporting to facilitate the delivery of priority outcomes. Support relationships with Supply Nation, Kinaway and Social traders to ensure we maximise partnership opportunities and outcomes with Aboriginal businesses and social enterprises. Work collaboratively across the team to prioritise and manage a caseload of procurement projects as well as service development activities. What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in business, Procurement or Management or equivalent work experience in Social Procurement. Self-motivated to create, influence and deliver strategies that generate outcomes for the program. Experience in working with government clients, along with community-based organisations and education institutions. A can-do attitude and flexible to attend events outside of usual work hours. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working within a project environment, Alliance or equivalent industry is desirable. As part of the team, you can help us transform lives.
