As a Social Media Officer, you will work both independently and collaboratively to support Defence's strategic communication objectives and outcomes.
The role requires efficiency, effectiveness and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, reflecting the responsibilities and expectations of an APS6 level professional within the organisation.Key responsibilities include:Building operational dashboards and conducting reputational analysis;Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging aligned with overall communication strategies;Planning, creating and scheduling strategic content in line with campaigns;Undertaking community management tasks;Analysing data reports and insights.The candidate we are seeking will demonstrate an eagerness to engage with the multifaceted aspects of data management while also possessing strong copywriting and coordination skills.About our TeamOur SectionThe Defence News Bureau sits within the Media and Information Disclosure (MID) Branch that is responsible for day-to-day media operations across Defence.
