ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Social Media Manager contract role will act as key lead in executing the 2024-25 global and local social media strategy, and ensuring that local Australian social media channels are managed, monitored and optimised daily to support the key business objectives.
In addition to adapting global strategy and assets to support local priorities and audiences, this position will also be responsible for supporting ongoing data and performance monitoring of local channels, and responsible for the creation of social assets to support local content priorities, within global guidelines.
This role will be a key communication lead with the global social team, based in the USA.
The role is based in Sydney office and is starting as an 18 month contract.

As the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will... Execute the global Audible social media strategy for Audible Australia in 2024-25, incorporating AU strategic priorities and acting as the key point of contact for local and international stakeholders.Coordinate with Global Social Team, based in the USA, to take central plans and guidance and adapt for the AU market, and share learnings and best practices.Manage the development and implementation of always-on social media campaigns that deliver measurable uplift against our key goals and metrics.Manage the execution of influencer programs - recruits, contracts and manages cohort of social media talent and partnerships to raise the bar of campaigns.Collaborate with AU stakeholders across Brand & Content Marketing, PR, Growth Marketing and Customer Care to support bespoke campaigns, initiatives and brand reputation across social platforms and ensure tactics ladder to overall strategy and goals.Be responsible for developing and publishing social media content and ensuring accurate data tagging for all AU social media posts in Sprinklr under global guidelines.Be accountable for social community management across platforms with support from local or international agency partners.Manage the local social agency relationship and co-ordinate AU-specific social media content.Execute against goals and performance metrics for social; maintains ongoing social performance monitoring within Sprinklr, uses critical understanding of historical data, effectiveness, strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement; reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Minimum Requirements:
- Social media experience.
- In-depth knowledge of social networks' best practices – design, functionality, users (best time to post, tagging influencers, character limit) – across Meta, X, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Experience of using the latest social media management/monitoring/analysis tools and platforms, experience with Sprinklr preferred, but other social media management tools are acceptable.
- Experience of delivering successful paid amplification of influencer campaigns.
- Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals.
- Educated to a degree level.
