Job DescriptionOpportunity to play be part of the Qantas Social Media team to create content across both the Australian and international markets.Create and manage on-brand, strategic, and goal-oriented social content that delivers measurable outcomes.Permanent full-time position based in Mascot, Sydney.This role supports our broader social media team in the end-to-end development of social content across Australia and international markets, with the ideation, implementation, and optimisation of social content.
This role supports a variety of departments across the Airline, Loyalty, Corporate Communications, and Freight.
This Social Media Manager is a subject matter expert that is able to apply social best practices to all content created, ensuring that social content is on brand, aligned with the strategy, and ladders up to business objectives.
This role will support the Social Media Lead with content creation and production, campaign management, reporting, and insights.
This role requires hands-on content creation experience with video, stills, and editing tools.
You'll have:5 years + experience in social media.Experience ideation, development, implementation, and execution of socially led campaigns.Excellent understanding of, and experience in community management, social media marketing, and content.Experience in strategy implementation to meet business targets, with a focus on customer engagement strategies within social platforms.Results orientated, with a strong understanding of paid social, setting metrics, performance reporting, and analysis techniques.Hands-on experience with content development, with video or animation software.A flexible and can-do attitude, with the ability to adapt and change as needed.Strong organisational skills for campaign execution.A strong attention to detail to ensure quality outcomes.Ability to manage many stakeholders and campaigns with competing priorities.Why Qantas?You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
