About the roleThe social media designer will be responsible for creating social-first creative that drives engagement and aligns with key brand objectives for our clients.
The role involves producing visually compelling content for organic and paid social campaigns while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign strategies.
This position requires expertise in graphic design, some experience in video editing and animation is also favourable but not critical.
Key Responsibilities:Design and produce creative assets for social media campaigns, including static images, videos, and animations for organic and paid media.Collaborate with account managers and strategists to translate campaign briefs into innovative, audience-focused social content.Develop platform-specific assets for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other channels.Create reusable templates and tools to streamline the content production process.Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure social creative aligns with broader campaign strategies and objectives.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality across deliverables.Uphold brand guidelines while exploring fresh, creative approaches to content.Stay updated on trends in social media, content creation, and audience behaviours.Who are you?Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design tools.Proficiency in Figma.Experience in designing for social media platforms, with knowledge of best practices and platform-specific requirements.Proven ability to create campaign concepts for social specific campaigns.Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative mindset.Prior experience in campaign execution, either in-house or agency-side, is desirable.News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients and communities.
