DLGSC is looking to establish a pool of proactive, innovative and strategy driven media experts to appoint to permanent, fixed term, full time and part time positions, as they arise over the next 12 months.
We currently have one permanent, full time (75 hrs p/f) position available as Social Media Coordinator and one permanent, full time (75 hrs p/f) position available as Communications and Media Officer. As Social Media Coordinator, you will support the planning, growth and engagement of DLGSC social media channels.
You will play a key role within the Corporate Communications team to produce clear, creative and engaging content for the Department.
As Communications and Media Officer, you will support the development and implementation of proactive and reactive media and communication strategies.
Focusing on promoting DLGSC's Grant's programs, you will collaborate and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to the Department, delivering targeted sector communications relevant to DLGSC's projects, goals and objectives.
We are looking for applicants with:
Innovative, strategic ideas and experience working with social media channels and/or media communications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great attention to detail whilst producing visual, video and motion graphic social media content and/or media responses, statements newsletters and speech notes.The ability to manage multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced, changing environment and team.The ability to develop professional working relationships to achieve shared visions and goals.If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
