What you'll be doing: As the Social Media & Content Manager your role is to engage and build on our more than 2 million social media followers across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, to drive maximum commercial outcomes for Virgin Australia and our partners.
The Social Media & Content Manager also provides expert advice and execution in developing paid and organic content, copywriting social media posts and overseeing community management to deliver a high quality and satisfying customer service experience for the thousands of customers who book and fly with us each day. You will also provide strategic counsel to the Head of PR & Social Media and wider Group stakeholders in leveraging social media and content for campaigns to drive maximum ROI.
You'll be great in this role if you: Have significant experience leading a brand's social media initiativesCome with 8+ years' experience in social media and content or similarHave extensive experience leading a social media teamHave proven results building a social media audience, driving engagement and resultsEnjoy working in an issues rich, fast paced environmentHave copywriting and copy editing skills that are second to noneAre a natural at building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholdersAre a passionate storyteller across multiple channelsHave extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms and social media trendsTake pride in achieving outcomes with excellence and creative flairHave a Communications degree or equivalent (desirable)What you'll get from us We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
