Your success in this role will be measured not only by how well you execute tasks but also by how you embody these values in your daily work.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation & Management: Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, engaging social media content across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X). Create compelling copy and visuals that align with the DCA brand and values.Community Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with our followers and key stakeholders by engaging with comments, messages, and content from partner organisations.Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools. Generate insights and data-driven recommendations to refine our strategy and improve results. Develop and implement social media posts aligned with DCA's broader communication strategy. Identify target audiences and trends to ensure content resonates and drives maximum impact.Website & Digital Content Support: Support the Communications team in website updates and digital communication efforts, such as email campaigns using tools like MailChimp or ClickDimensions.Advertising & Promotions: Manage and execute paid social media campaigns, including targeting, budget management, and performance analysis to support lead generation and promotional efforts.Key Skills and Experience:3 – 5 years proven experience in social media content creation and strategy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating engaging, on-brand content.Strong graphic design skills to create visually compelling, on-brand content that complements and enhances written communication, using tools like Canva or similar platforms.Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools like Canva, Hootsuite, and similar platforms.Strong ability to analyse performance data and adjust strategies to meet engagement and growth targets.An eye for detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills to craft innovative campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.A solid understanding of digital marketing, content management systems, and reporting tools.Bonus Skills:Video editing and production experience for creating engaging multimedia content.On offer:A 6-8 month contract.Flexible working arrangements, Sydney or Melbourne-based.A unique opportunity to work at the forefront of diversity and inclusion in Australian workplaces.A values-driven, collaborative team where your creativity and ideas are welcomed and encouraged.Ready to be part of a team that's making a difference?
