We promote the right to equal opportunity with our overall aim being to increase access for our participants and provide support for them to achieve their goals!What is the role of Social Enterprise Micro Business Manager (SEMBM)?The SEMBM will lead and mentor supervisors in assisting Supported Employees, across current and new micro-businesses ensuring production activities run smoothly with a social & disability diversity team while meeting strategic planning needs. The role also supports communication, operations and brand awareness priorities for the organisation, based on the Strategic Plan, Vision, Mission and Values.Duties:Develop strategies that promote both existing and new servicesManage existing and increase capacity for new social enterprise opportunitiesDesign and deliver outcomes-focused, resource appropriate plans to timeline and budgetIncrease our networking with other social enterprise providersManagement, coordination and oversight of Supported EmployeesWork across and promote CALD and disability communitiesDevelop highly efficient teams and processesEnsure compliance with Quality Standards, program contracts and relevant departmental Service Guarantees and Codes of PracticeMaintain a high standard of occupational health and safety by actively enforcing Occupational Health and Safety guidelinesAbout You:Ability to enhance a social enterprise profile to be a market leaderIncrease capacity for social enterprise for diverse workers and supported workersManagement of microbusinesses and their expansionDemonstrated marketing, communications, engagement and market research capabilityStrong relationship building skills and experience in managing stakeholder expectationsCommunications experience within the social services sectorProficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office suiteExperience with analytics and evaluation of communication activities against business objectivesDemonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with sound judgementOutstanding influencing, negotiating and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to network, negotiate and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholdersExcellent time management skills with an ability to effectively manage competing prioritiesAttention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality workExperience in the development of suitable content for tenders / bid applicationsExperience in subscribing to grants opportunities, portalsTertiary Qualification in disability/community health > 3 years experience in the fieldExperience in a senior position that contributes to transformational changeExperience working in a not-for-profit organisationExperience/ability working with Supported EmployeesAbility to work with and build CALD and diverse workforcesAbility to manage multiple sites and projectsStrong relationship management and ability to build long lasting working relationships across Social and Disability Enterprise with various stakeholdersWhy join The Bridge?Rewarding work where you can make a differenceKnowledgeable and supportive leadership and teamDynamic and lively work environmentAnnual leave loading of 17.5%Salary Packaging Benefits - Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, with additional meal and entertainment expenses coveredAccess to our free and confidential Employee Assistance Program for additional supportHow to apply:Appointment to the position is subject to a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check and two Reference Checks.
