THE CHALLENGE
The Social & Content Specialist is responsible for the regional execution of the Global Digital Strategy, with the aim of improving the brand performance and brand presence across all media channels for Quiksilver and Roxy.
Coordinating all social & media initiatives, this role will generate, edit & publish engaging content to increase brand engagement and drive sell through.
Key activities include:
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content consistently.
Regionally adapt and deploy the Global Digital strategy and measure the impact and effectiveness.
Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals through the building of a social calendar that aligns to seasonal go-to-market and activation.
Manage social media accounts across multiple channels.
Create local content that can be elevated regionally or globally to nurture social media communities and drive multiple digital platforms.
Develop briefs, produce & direct regional photoshoots, creating key brand & story telling moments.
Partner with eCommerce, Marketing, Sales and Retail departments to provide social and digital assets for EDMs, wholesale accounts, training videos and additional content as needed to support performance growth across all channels within the business.
Build and maintain key relationships with freelancers, athletes, ambassadors and influencers.
Develop regional brand ambassador and influencer campaigns through creation of strong User Generated Content.
Manage samples and media/influencer product requests.
Assist on the ground at regional and global events – managing relationships, shooting content, and distributing to third parties as required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful you will have:
Proven experience of managing a lifestyle/fashion/youth marketing brand.
Excellent Photography & Video Skills – capture & edit.
Expert knowledge of social media trends and usage within market.
Good experience of Digital Marketing, including display ads, SEM, eDM, social networking etc.
Proofing and writing skills, in a youthful tone.
Daily usage of Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Snapchat and TikTok.
Proven Track record in contributing to digital initiatives in areas such as e-marketing, fashion, youth market, online sales, etc.
Continuous improvement mindset - always seeking ways to refine and enhance processes.
Team player with a flexible approach.
Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, Google Sheets.
The ability to work flexibly, both in time and location.
