About the role The role of the Social & Community Engagement Coordinator exists to design, plan and implement comprehensive program of ongoing activities that enhance natural supports and promotes community participation, social inclusion, capacity building, vocational training, education and employment for people living with a disability and/or mental health diagnosis and their families. 
Duties and Responsibilities:  Market, promote and engage with community stakeholders to build the Mamre activities program across service delivery regionsCollaborate with Marketing team to develop marketing collateral that promotes Mamre's activities programParticipate in networking events to promote Mamre activities programFacilitate Environmental audits and safety assessments for all activitiesQualifications / Skills: Demonstrated experience in developing and/or delivering community and centre-based activities programsCertificate IV or equivalent in Community Services, Mental Health, or related field preferredDemonstrated high level organisational, budgeting, planning and administrative skillsProven interpersonal, empathetic, active listening skillsEffective communication – both verbal and writtenUnderstanding of NDIS Pricing and Operational GuidelinesProficient user of the Microsoft office suite Current Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening CardNDIS Worker Orientation Module CertificateAn opportunity to give back to the community while utilising your skillsAn attractive remuneration package, including Salary Packaging - save up to $15,900 per year tax-free!In addition to your tax-free benefit, you can also use up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Free 24/7 consultation and counselling for you and your immediate family with our EAP Services Apply now To find out more about who we are and to view the Position Description, visit www.mamre.org.au .
