It is a 41 bed acute hospital and offers emergency medicine; surgery (Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery and Obstetrics); Inpatient Services; Maternity, (24 hours) beds; Renal Dialysis; Outpatient Oncology; Pathology collection; Pharmacy; and Medical Imaging (X-Ray, CT and Ultrasound).Cooma is the gateway to the Snowy Mountains, the gold rush town of Cooma is the largest in the region, and a popular stop for snow lovers on their way to the ski fields. The Rural incentive package applies to all full time and part-time dental officers and dental specialists working in an eligible rural and remote area. Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving long distances within the Health Service. Evidence of a current Class C drivers licence.
