Apply your environmental chemistry/biology/forensic science and leadership skills to help protect and restore the environment Ongoing full-time opportunity Lidcombe – hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $153,138 to $164,031 super The Science and Insights Division of the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water is currently seeking to appoint a 'Senior Team Leader – Environmental Forensics' to join our Environment Protection Science Branch. Reporting to the Director - Environment Protection Science, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology programs in line with Departmental priorities. You will be part of the branch leadership team and work with the Director and other team leaders to shape the strategic priorities of the branch that support environmental protection and restoration. You will lead a team of 25 staff and oversee the operations of environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology laboratories, field investigations and research collaborations. About You You are passionate about developing and delivering science programs that protect and enhance the environment and will have experience in environmental chemistry/biology/forensic science. You are a strategic thinker with a strong commitment to engaging with and identifying stakeholder needs and developing programs to deliver relevant outcomes. You will have demonstrated experience in successfully leading high performing teams is critical. You have excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with an ability to build impactful long term relationships.
