They have consistently delivered innovative solutions in various market sectors, including Commercial Construction, Refurbishment, and Fitout.The company has experienced steady growth in both size and reputation, often promoting internal staff rather than recruiting externally.Their commitment to executing high-quality projects and providing exceptional service has enabled our client to establish a solid reputation within their market.With a robust pipeline of work due to their continued success in securing projects, they are now seeking a Senior Site Manager to join their team for the delivery of a new $50M commercial project on the outskirts of Brisbane's CBD.Reporting to the Project Manager, you will:Oversee site safety and ensure all procedures are implemented and monitoredOversee trade works and ensure the works are being carried out as per the drawings and specificationsSet the quality standard from the beginning of the trade works and ensure that the trade contractors understand what is requiredBe aware of the preliminaries budget and schedule materials/supplies and site labour accordinglyLiaise with the relevant authorities regarding industrial relations matters as requiredEstablish and maintain a cohesive site team with defined responsibilities for assigned projects. Mentor staff as required to effectively carry out their assigned tasksEffectively liaise with the client, consultants and trade contractors as requiredThe successful candidate will possess:Proven experience successfully delivering similar projects across Commercial, Retail/Industrial sectors ($50M)Tertiary qualification in either construction or engineeringHigh level ability to read and interpret plans and drawingsWell-developed time management and planning skills including industry knowledge regarding lead times for delivery and trade worksStrong communication skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationshipsWell-developed leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop team membersTo apply please send your CV to (Greg Will) by clicking the 'Apply Now' button below.
