Snr Manager Accounting Policy Advisory

NSW State Government Position: Snr Manager Accounting Policy Advisory Location: North Shore Syd + WFH Start Date: ASAP - End of March 2025 Salary: $1000 - $1100 per day + super Key Responsibilities: Provide technical accounting advice. Prepare & monitor compliance with accounting standards, government and financial policies and procedures, and other financial governance for the department. Support the implementation of new or revised standards and policies, ensuring compliance by Agencies with the Department-wide standards and policies. Apply and document accounting principles with integrity across a large, complex cluster, ensuring compliance. Collaborate on analysis by working with cross-functional colleagues to analyze new and complex transactions. Maintain policy standards to ensure new transactions align with policies, systems, and financial controls. Qualifications & Skills: CPA/CA or equivalent accounting qualification. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
