They are a market leader who has gone from strength to strength through their exceptional brand, product quality and customer service.The Role | Reporting into the Financial Controller Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Australia's monthly and year-end local financial reporting for Financial Controller's review before submission; Preparation of journals and Balance Sheet reconciliations for Australia operation; Preparation of budgets and forecasts for Australia operation for Financial Controller's review before submission; Management of all indirect and direct taxes for Australia and New Zealand Operations; Assistance with streamlining key processes on a new accounting system (D); Assistance in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax returns for New Zealand and Australia operation; Management of FX revaluation calculations; Management of intercompany loans in FX currency; Assisting with the year-end internal and external audit; Financial analysis; and Accounts/Finance related tasks as per business requirements Assists the Finance Shared Service Team with queries Candidate ProfileYou are CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion, having commenced your career in the chartered environment or having gained experience in the import/distribution, manufacturing or retail industries.
Your interpersonal and communication skills are exceptional, consistently displaying a willingness to provide ongoing support to all key stakeholders.
You will have demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
