About the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager/Senior Accounts and Administration small business all rounder, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Senior Accounts and Administration role to join our team at PUMPCON in Alberton, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for all accounts, administrative and operational functions within our office, working closely with our Operations Manager, to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day business activities. There is opportunity for this to be a full-time role or part-time job share role and will be based on-site at our Alberton location with the opportunity for flexible work arrangements.
What you'll be doing Process Accounts tasks including Payable, Receivable, payment reconciliation, Payroll and reporting using MYOB or XeroMonitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accountsMonitor and maintain AR Pricing schedulesProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for enquiriesMaintain records and data integrity with a high attention to detailMaintain and provide WHS and Fleet Documentation to clients as requiredRespond to Customer and Supplier communications, responding to queries or coordinating input to assist in resolving any issues that arise in day-to-day operationsHave the ability to interpret reports and highlight inconsistencies to validate and correct input data as requiredContribute to the development and implementation of office policies and proceduresIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutionsMaintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive informationWhat we're looking for Proven experience in an office management or senior accounts and administrative role, preferably within a similar industry in Building and Construction.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demandsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approachProficient in the use of office software, including MS Office suite, AdobeProficient in the use of Accounting Software, MYOB and/or XeroAbility to adapt to changing technology requirements and navigate software systemsDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a teamExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standardsKnowledge of office procedures, policies, and best practices within a small business with an understanding of dependencies associated with each role within the businessAbout us
