As the Groups Coordinator you will sell and effectively coordinate the fulfilment and distribution of all group booking products to Perisher's customers and liaise with internal departments to ensure quality service delivery.
You will be an excellent source of resort and product information and will quickly develop the ability to match groups with the product or service that best suits their needs, resolve booking issues, and work directly with internal departments to respond to enquiries with accurate, timely and quality information.
In a typical day in this role, you might: Ensures seamless communication and coordination with group contacts and resale partners to facilitate an exceptional guest experience.
Provide oversight and coordination with internal departments including Snowsports School, Snowsports Rental, Guest Services, Skitube, and Food & Beverage to plan and support group operations.
Manage booking details in our internal sales system from booking submission through to service delivery.
Facilitate the generation and issuing of invoices to groups and resellers; monitoring and following up on outstanding invoices and payments to ensure financial accountability and accuracy in all transactions.
Support and foster a culture of excellence in customer service through your interactions with guests via our multiple communication channels, (including email and phone).
To be considered for this role, you should have: The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational and time management skill and attention to detail.
A sound working knowledge of computer systems and processes, and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs including Excel.
Experience with RTP One or similar will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in computer operations and experience with RTP One or FLAIK Resort software will be highly regarded Demonstrated previous experience in a customer service role, with high volume administrative duties highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
General knowledge of Resort and Snowsports operations is desirable.
