As the Grooming Manager, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Mountain Manager in driving continuous improvement and overseeing all daily and future functions of the Snow Grooming Department. Focusing on safety and all Snow Grooming operations, including but not limited to managing and training team members, management of nightly snow grooming operations, terrain park builds, events, and management of terrain park day crew.
It is expected that as the Snow Grooming Manager, you'll have the ability to work and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues, have exceptional communication, and excellent organisational skills. You'll be able to provide positive leadership, constructive feedback, and guidance to team members, as well as maintaining a strong level of knowledge to provide resort information to guests. Within this role, you are to foster interdepartmental cooperation and initiatives to increase productivity and profitability.
