Role Located: Kalgoorlie, WA - Workshop
Earning Potential: Up to $188K plus superannuation paid on all hours worked. More on offer to experienced Auto Electricians (Senior rates). Residential allowance offered to all Kalgoorlie based personnel.
About the role:
As a Workshop Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and finding electrical faults on our fleet of mobile equipment.
Install and maintain electrical accessories and equipment. Repair or replace faulty ignition, electrical wiring, fuses, lamps, and switches. Service, diagnose, and repair electrical faults on mobile mining equipment, such as issues with electronic fuel injection, ignition, automatic transmission, and airbags. Complete breakdown works, general servicing, and component change outs. What we are looking for:
Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology. At minimum, 2 years post trade experience. Demonstrable experience working on mobile surface equipment (MEM). Previous experience on a mine site and with diagnosing and repairing mobile plant mining equipment. Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu Mining Equipment. Valid Manual HR Drivers Licence.
