We have a proven track record of successfully completing a high volume of project packages for our Blue Chip mining client base.
From design through to completion and handover, we are able to supply, maintain and manage all aspects of projects works including remedial works, capital works and expansion projects.
THE ROLEDue to continued growth, we are currently seeking a SMP Project Engineer to join our existing team in a hybrid role working from our Head Office as well as on site.
As a SMP Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Planning of materials and administering vendor orders, ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources and compliance to all timeframesPreparation of detailed work-packsAssisting with project plans, schedules and reportingInterpreting standard specifications and typical/standard drawings to reflect current industry standardsIdentifying, investigating, recording, monitoring and reporting on actions, resolution and costs of vendor NCRsEnsuring all variations to scope and/or specifications are approved and documentedProviding technical support to the site teamReviewing completed site quality documentation and compiling close out documentation to clientExecuting other administrative tasks as required and directedABOUT YOUThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Degree in Mechanical or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 5 years experience in Fixed Plant Mining or ConstructionAbility to expedite vendors and facilitate sub-contractor inspectionsProficiency to gather data, analyse and problem solveAbility to build positive and professional relationships with clientsCapacity to deliver high quality work under strict deadlinesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera 6 is desirableA current Australian Drivers LicenceIN RETURNYou will be joining an existing team who will provide you with the onboarding and support to create a successful Linkforce career.
