About the role
PARC Engineering is seeking experienced SMP Project Engineers to join our expanding business across Infrastructure and Resources projects.
We have both local and FIFO 2:1 options available on a full-time basis with an immediate start.
What you'll do:
Manage multiple SMP packages on the project Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets operational requirements Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts Oversee discipline work and ensure it meets quality, cost and time constraints Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards Monitor and identify risks and drive implementations of appropriate controls and mitigations Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates Interface with the client and cultivate positive relations to achieve effective communication and collaboration across teams Work collaboratively with supervision and client to resolve construction issues What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years relevant industry experience in a similar role within the mining, construction or infrastructure sectors Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian and international engineering standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe and client requirements A bit about us
