Job Description The Project Engineer will have the opportunity to work with Senior Project Managers and their teams, participate in major project work with hands on access to the fabrication workshop as well as opportunity to work on various site-based projects.
This will be a dual location role, with site and head office when required.
Review drawings and specifications and execute the scope of work in accordance with these. Prepare MTO's and RFQ packs for material procurement and subcontractor engagement. Evaluate quotes and prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations for material and subcontract packages for approval. Review and understand project budgets and schedules and assist with identifying project variations. Scheduling of procurement, fabrication and subcontractor engagement to meet project schedules. Oversee project deliverables for site execution including ITP's, ITR's, work packs. Develop progress tracking spreadsheets and provide updates and report on project progress. Liaise with client representatives on project commitments and assist resolving technical queries. Work in accordance with the Company's Core Values. Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans and procedures. Lead projects from award through to close out. Qualifications Have an Engineering Degree with around 3+ years' experiencewithin Australia Demonstrated comprehensive skill, knowledge, and experience of the following:Process pipe fabrication Gas pipeline facilities or process plant construction Package management Subcontractor management Test Pack development and completion Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis or potentially regular rosters and be eligible to access client sites. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employees. Current Australian C class manual drivers licence Strong safety leadership skills Solid work management and planning work ethic Computer literate – competent in Microsoft applications Additional Information Further details will be discussed with successful candidates at the interview stage.
