You will be working with a team of highly driven and enthusiastic individuals who do not take themselves too seriously but do take what they do very seriously. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Underwriting a portfolio of SME business across Property, Business Interruption, Liability, Theft, Glass, Machinery Breakdown, Electronic Equipment etc. Underwrite and price new business and renewals that are outside of auto rated terms Recommending and implementing process, underwriting and pricing improvements across the business including review of loss ratios and portfolios Keeping abreast of the broader insurance industry to identify market movements and changes This is a contract role until 24 January 2025 . About You At least 1-2 years underwriting experience (Commercial preferred) and ideally experience with intermediated channels Good understanding of relationship management skills, underwriting principles, insurance legislation and current market trends Industry related qualifications (e.g. ANZIIF) is desirable Certificate IV in General Insurance or equivalent is desirable Working at Hollard At Hollard you will be part of a supportive, valued and committed team.
