Job Description - SME, Planning & Scheduling (AUS00099W) Ausenco is a fast-growing company with big ideas.

Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting a SME, Planning & Scheduling. This exciting opportunity requires you to join our Mineral & Metals Project Execution Services team creating and maintaining project schedules and assisting in driving activities to that schedule.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for supporting the project teams based in different countries.
You will work closely with the Project and Construction Directors/Managers across various mining-related projects to ensure that all deliverables and activities are tracked to the required timelines.
You will be proactive in driving the desired outcomes, constantly challenging and working together with the project team leaders, whilst developing mitigation strategies where required to ensure efficiencies and the smooth execution and completion of projects.
You will:
Review/audit projects to ensure continued compliance and validity of the schedule.Provide input, where required, for adjustment and correction to those schedules found to be deficient.Review and create, where required, training materials and provide training.Work in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis.Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to ensure timely completion.Review and create, where required, procedures to ensure cross-platform communication to other systems used by Ausenco, specifically the Hexagon suite of modules (Note that the ability to program these modules or interfaces is not required).Qualifications - ExternalAbout YouYou will have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in project scheduling within the EPC/EPCM industry.Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.Excellent reporting on project progress and schedule performance.Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project); PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is preferred.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Flexibility to adjust schedules and priorities as needed.Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Why Ausenco?We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths and meets your needs.
