This is an exciting time for the business as they're a prominent player in their field and constantly expanding their product offering.About the role:Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this newly established role offers an exciting opportunity to internalize and lead the finance function of the company. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and structure to the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.Responsibilities:Preparation of Financial statements for a multinationalYear and month end closing and consolidation of entitiesCreate a monthly management reporting and cashflow reportAnalysis on variances, margins, KPI'sTax and compliance requirements; FBT, GST, BAS and Payroll taxAnnual budgeting and forecastingManagement of external part-time bookkeeperSeek improvements in systems and processes – MYOBStock and inventory reportingManagement of banking and insurancesLiaising with external auditorsSkills and Experience:Ideally you are CA/CPA qualified with demonstrated experience working for an SME sub $50m. You have a minimum of 3 years in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role with strong process improvement skills. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner with the wider business and senior management.
