Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies across various operational functions and implement Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies to optimise workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all processes are aligned with best practice standards, enabling the organisation to operate at peak efficiency. Operational Efficiency : Lead the development, tracking, and achievement of operational KPIs to continuously improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance. You will work closely with senior management to identify areas for improvement and monitor the performance of the organisation against set targets. Systems Optimisation : Drive the integration and implementation of operational systems, ensuring streamlined processes and enabling data-driven decision-making. You'll assess existing systems and identify opportunities for optimisation, ensuring all systems are aligned with the overall business strategy. Team Leadership : Inspire, manage, and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability , excellence , and continuous improvement . Your leadership will be key in motivating employees to reach their full potential while ensuring effective collaboration across teams. Project Management : Oversee key operational projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with organisational goals. You will be responsible for leading change initiatives, managing resources, and driving progress towards operational targets. Compliance and Standards : Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 , ISO 14001 , ISO 27001 ) and regulations. You will lead efforts to maintain compliance and improve quality management systems, particularly focusing on any certifications that the organisation holds. Innovation and Change Management : Proactively identify emerging technologies, new systems, and process innovations that will help future-proof operations. You will be expected to lead the implementation of change initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and changes are smoothly integrated. You will have: Proven experience in operations management, particularly in process improvement , systems optimisation , and driving operational efficiency in fast-paced environments. Certification or hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), or other continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to successfully implement process improvement projects and lead teams to achieve measurable results. A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills , enabling you to make informed decisions and identify areas for operational enhancement. Experience in managing compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 27001) and other industry-specific certifications. Knowledge of standards related to secure data destruction or IT lifecycle services is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, while driving accountability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong project management experience, with the ability to oversee multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
