Job description: Rocky Motorcycles are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Small Engine Mechanic to join their team in Rockhampton QLD 4700.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Detect and diagnose engine faults and repair or replace defective parts on small engines such as mowers, all-terrain vehicles, whipper snippers, etc.The capacity to perform maintenance services to ensure smoother running of units and ensure compliance with pollution regulations, referring to service manuals as needed.Able to dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, and steering mechanical components.Dismantle and reassemble engine and parts after being repaired.Using diagnostic tools and testing parts.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong diagnostics capabilities.Skills and Abilities: Certificate III in Small Engine Technology or equivalent.Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Small Engine or ATV/Motorcycle Mechanic.The ability to work in a team environment.Salary range is $70,000 – $85,000 pa commensurate with experience.
Full-time position available.
