At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to provide remote banking support to National Business centre customers, helping them to start, run and grow their businesses.Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Role Type: PermanentWork Schedule: Full TimeWhat will your day look like?As a Small Business Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for:Accepting inbound call or appointment requests in a timely manner to meet customer experience SLAs and objectives.Engaging in outbound customer calls to help facilitate customer onboarding and discover additional customer needs.Providing high quality customer service to a diverse range of small business customers.Autonomously tracking, managing and actioning a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.Providing appropriate solutions to customers.Building and maintaining strong internal network.Meeting assigned performance targets through needs-based conversations and cross-selling.Engaging in needs-based conversations with new and existing small business customers.Managing referrals to specialist teams to support customer requirements.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Customer Solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/or providing considered options, that meet those needs.Fulfilment: The end-to-end execution of a process, or part thereof, to achieve a customer or end user outcome.Knowledge of small business operations, transaction banking and working capital solutions.Proficient in credit assessment and management.Business Development: The activity of partnering with individuals and/or organisations to pursue strategic initiatives, relationships and/or opportunities to drive commercial value.Relationship Management: Building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Financial acumen: Knowledge of financial terminology, financial statements (such as Profit and Loss, balance sheets and cashflow statements) and the principles behind financing in order to be able to evaluate the impact of a business decision.Knowledge of lending and cashflow needs and solutions.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
