Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care Specialist - ARH Wollongong Full-time
The Animal Referral Hospital was Australia's first privately owned multi-disciplinary specialist hospital, and today it is a part of the largest emergency and specialist group in Australia. We offer 24-hour emergency and critical care, as well as specialist services in the fields of small animal surgery, internal medicine, intensive care, medical and radiation oncology, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging. We have a great team of long-term support who are engaged and committed to providing the highest quality patient care.
We are currently expanding our clinic to bring in specialists to complement the GP and Emergency Practice. You will be in brand new facilities which are purpose-built to accommodate Surgery, Medicine and Emergency services initially with scope to expand into the future.
Our team consists of highly trained and dedicated staff who work around the clock to ensure the wellness of pets and a stress-free experience. Team fit is very important to us, so we are looking for individuals who have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and have a passion for outcomes, patient care and excellent clinical service.
The ideal applicant will be a registered specialist in Emergency and Critical Care, Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVECC, ECVECC). Applicants that have completed their residency training are also encouraged to apply.
Above all, we are looking for someone that is motivated, committed to patient care, and shares a vision for a collaborative working environment, where referring veterinarians and pet owners receive personalized gold standard service. Good communication skills and an ability to work as a team are essential. A strong commitment to continued professional development is also desirable.
