About Us:
We're renowned for our friendly nature and our ability to create 'anything' from metal. As part of our growth, we're looking for a Slitter Folder Operator to operate machines that cut and fold sheet steel to meet required specifications.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: Operating slitting and folding machines for sheet steelStock control and waste managementForklift operationMachine and forklift maintenanceEnsuring accuracy and quality in all workKey Skills We're Looking For: Organised and analyticalProblem-solving abilitiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProfessionalism, great work ethic, and punctualityPride in personal appearanceWillingness to grow, learn, and share knowledgeGreat communication and people skillsPositive 'can-do' attitude, friendly and approachableStrong task management and organisational skillsReliable, enthusiastic, and motivatedRequirements: Technical knowledge or experience setting and operating slitting/folding machines (preferred)Trade qualifications and relevant experienceAttention to detail and the ability to work in a team environmentAbility to meet goals and targets with minimal supervisionOn-the-job training is available for the right applicant, and your hourly rate will reflect this??
