Skycity | Recruitment Advisor (12-Month Contract)

SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our Recruitment (and wider People & Culture) team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
About the role Reporting to our Recruitment Manager, you will collaborate with our hiring managers to understand the recruitment needs of their teams and develop tailored strategies to support the attraction of top candidates. This role will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including taking job briefs, drafting and posting job advertisements across multiple channels, sourcing and screening applications, interviewing, conducting all pre-employment checks, creating employment contracts and supporting the wider P&C team with onboarding requirements.
On top of this, you will ensure an exceptional candidate experience from the moment candidates apply and will enhance the SkyCity Employment Brand with creative and out-of-the-box thinking, to ensure we are capturing high-quality candidates for every role. You will also support our hiring managers by providing guidance and advice on current market trends and challenges, recruitment best practices and employment legislation. Developing excellent relationships with our internal staff and colleagues and external industry partners is also an important part of this role.
This role will be specifically supporting the resourcing for a multi-year business wide transformation program that will require attracting and hiring candidates for a diverse range of roles, including (but not limited to) compliance, risk, financial crime, and other project/program related roles. Being part of a supportive and collaborative team will also see you support your team members across other portfolios as/if required.
About you Your background in Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition will be diverse, fast-paced and customer-centric, coupled with excellent knowledge of recruitment processes, systems/tools and best practices. You will have excellent prior experience building high-performing teams across a range of departments or industries, as well as building strong relationships with your stakeholders and hiring managers, ensuring you can best identify their recruitment needs, gaps and urgencies. Experience within the entertainment/casino industry will be ideal (but not preferred), coupled with the below strengths:
High level of professionalism, with excellent interpersonal skills. High attention to detail as well exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Approachable, personable and can build rapport easily with a diverse range of people at all levels. A willingness to aid and support with a sense of urgency, including the ability to prioritise. The ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of and familiarity with ATS (applicant tracking systems); and The ability to flex and adapt within a fast-paced environment. What's in it for you?
