SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for an experienced Host Responsibility leader who will manage and lead our Host Responsibility function as our General Manager Host Responsibility.
About the role This senior leadership role will be responsible for providing strategic direction in respect of SkyCity Adelaide's Host Responsibility Programme to ensure that the Programme minimises risks to the business and is leading the way in Host Responsibility and governance practices.
Leading and managing the delivery of Host Responsibility continuous improvement activities, including leading delivery of key workstreams within SkyCity's Building a Better Business Programme, will be a core function of the role. This role will also offer the chance to demonstrate strong people leadership skills by building a high performing culture within the team, which drives strong business engagement of Host Responsibility with the wider business. Driving the development of key external relationships with business partners and regulators in order to strengthen the SkyCity brand will also be integral to working towards establishing a 'leading the way' reputation and continuously seeking ways to improve the Host Responsibility function at SkyCity Adelaide.
This role exists to drive and support a culture of care at SkyCity and will demonstrate strong, example led senior leadership with a continued focus on the highest standard of Host Responsibility practices.
About you The successful candidate will have previous Senior Leadership experience within the Regulatory, Risk or Compliance functions, coupled with extensive experience managing relationships with external regulators or regulatory bodies. With proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including Board and Senior Executive levels, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and influencing skills, along with high level regulatory reporting skills. Previous experience leading a large programme of work which led to positive outcomes, with strong leadership and relationship building capabilities is also a must, as well as possessing excellent risk management knowledge, including implementation of appropriate controls. Previous experience reviewing existing systems and processes and determining suitable improvements (whilst managing the change process) will also be highly regarded.
