The Opportunity We are looking for a Skin Cancer Screening Nurse to join the team in Perth and deliver corporate Skin Cancer Screening services to our portfolio of workplace wellness clients. Working predominantly across the Perth Metro area but with some occasional travel to regional or interstate locations, this role is offered on a casual basis and offers flexibility and autonomy.
Here's a glimpse of what your day will be like: Work onsite at some of Australia's largest companies and liaise onsite with key client stakeholders. You'll be responsible for setting up the space for the day to ensure privacy and comfort for your clients. With a patient centric approach, you will explain all procedures to clients, providing them with support and reassurance throughout the consultation. Conduct head to toe skin checks to identify potential skin cancer or areas of concern and provide relevant referral for follow up and treatment if required. Provide education about the best way to prevent skin cancer and other useful information as relevant. About you With an interest in skin health, skin cancer, melanoma, and dermatology, you are keen to play a vital role in improving the health of Australians. You instantly know how to put people at ease and can impart health information with simplicity and compassion. You are comfortable working independently and able to show initiative, and problem-solve on your feet. You also bring the following:
Nursing degree (RN or EN) and AHPRA registration with an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine or equivalent. Previous experience delivering skin checks, ideally in a mobile or work site environment or similar. Comfortable working in diverse environments, from corporate offices to blue-collar workspaces. Ability to travel across Perth is essential and an interest in working regionally and interstate will be highly regarded. Why Join Us?
