We are looking to fill multiple Skilled Auto Electrician or Automotive Technician with Electrical Knowledge roles within our Malaga facility. In this hands-on position, you will have a strong drive and motivation to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment. Positions enjoy working a 9-day fortnight. Pay rate is market competitive and depends on experience and qualifications. This will be a permanent full time opportunity and paid as per our Enterprise Agreement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose and repair electrical faults and computer-controlled systems used in automotive technology. Determine if a repair, upgrade, or new installation is required and carry out the process accordingly. Calibrate and test any electrical components and wiring following installation, repair, or upgrade. Service or replace defective electrical parts and wiring. Install/upgrade accessories. Test headlight strength and alignment. Safely use hand and electrical tools. Follow all relevant safety guidelines and procedures. Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components. Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply. Replacing defective parts such as fuses, lamps and switches. Fault finding using multimeter and schematics. Working with multiplex systems and programs. Installing and maintaining pneumatic/electrical systems. COMPETENCIES: Auto electrical and mechanical knowledge. Knowledge of diagnostics tools for vehicle electrical and electronics. Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams. Ability to carry out/repair electrical wiring in a range of vehicles. Strong manual skills and precision when carrying out repair and testing.. Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.. Problem-solving skills PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Previous exposure and experience in a vehicle manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
