We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and oversee our operations in the Northern Territory. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your main responsibilities will include driving the growth and success of our organization, collaborating with the business development team to identify new opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to the achievement of our sales and revenue targets. Your role is critical in achieving company goals through continuous improvement, support, and direction of our cleaning teams, as well as providing world-class customer service to our clients. You will manage a portfolio of clients and ground staff, making it your key focus.
Key responsibilities that will be fundamental to your role include: Work according to set budgetary constraints and retain profitability. Provide timely and accurate information to the business. Conduct quality inspections, and report outcomes to the customer. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance relating to site processes. Initiate and provide client and service solutions. Ensuring safe work practices are followed and that all assets are maintained. Incident and accident reporting, reviews and recommendations, toolbox talks. Initiate actions to improve overall performance. Oversee staff inductions and training staff. Oversee service provider compliance and management monitoring regulatory performance within your area of responsibility. Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to implement company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Business development assistance, quoting and selling our services. Liaise with cleaning staff and service providers by managing their performance and relationship. What you'll need to succeed: Cleaning Service industry experience. Strong negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making ability. Knowledge and understanding of rosters, schedules, and the Cleaning Industry Award. Experience managing teams. Business Development experience. Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities. Display excellent written, verbal, and reporting writing skills. Maintain a positive team culture. Knowledge and understanding of Quality, Environment, and WHS systems – safe systems of work and environmental management.
