Due to strong growth in our business, we are currently looking for new Machine Control Field Service Technicians to join us.
The role: Installation of Trimble Machine Control to heavy mobile equipment Retrofitting wiring harnesses and hardware to heavy mobile equipment Travelling to remote sites for installations and breakdowns Electrical diagnostics Use of survey equipment for commissioning Travel to remote sites as well as local work throughout Perth. There is some flexibility around travel; however, this role demands a willingness to fly and drive to meet the needs of clients. Full-time, permanent (40 hours/week) with flat rate overtime. Requirements: Attention to detail and pride in workmanship A team player with good communication skills An appetite to learn and willingness to accept instruction Ability and willingness to comply with workplace health & safety requirements Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships Proficiency working with hand and power tools Previous machine control experience highly desirable, but not essential Experience within the Mining/Construction industry preferably in a technical/survey role highly desirable, but not essential Understanding of correction-based GPS systems desirable, but not essential Trade qualification or experience in a similar, 'hands-on role' an advantage, but not essential Must be able to pass a pre-employment Medical incl. drug and alcohol screen On Offer: Competitive remuneration Full training provided (6-12 months working alongside a senior technician) Fully equipped field service vehicle Company iPhone Company Laptop Provision of Workwear Flexible work schedule, no fixed roster Away from home allowance 20 days annual leave Supportive team environment If you like the sound of this opportunity, apply now via SEEK!
