The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team. This is an initial 12 month contract position (with possibility of extension or permanent employment) responsible for coordinating the installation, commissioning and engineering activities on large-scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring that the building, site services and processing equipment are installed and commissioned into full production to meet the client's specifications, within the contract schedule, budget and quality in a safe manner. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel required to our various sites Australia wide.

Tasks and Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations. Liaising with project team, clients, builders and sub-contractors. Proactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment. Obtaining and managing necessary materials and resources. Organising and supervising the subcontractors installing equipment to maintain project schedule. Day to day management of sub-contractors. Coordinating regular inspection of works for quality assurance. Supervise commissioning activities. Ensuring safe installation procedures are followed. About You - What We Are Looking For 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projects. Formal qualifications in engineering highly regarded or from a trades background. Experience on construction sites. Knowledge of material handling equipment highly desirable. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to read and interpret drawings. Thorough knowledge of WHS requirements. Strong communication skills. Proven leadership skills. Strong computer skills in MS office products. Flexibility to travel Australia wide.
