Our client is an award-winning and highly established volume home building company and due to continued growth are looking to hire an experienced volume home building construction supervisor to join their busy construction team in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities of the Role: Manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently.Up to 15 houses in construction at any one time on averageCombination of single and double-story homesAllocate materials and trades to job sites.Ensure timely construction of new homes within budgetEffectively communicate with clients, trades and management in a professional manner.Construction of new homes are carried out safely and comply with company processes and procedures.Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of qualityMaintaining and updating company systemsReporting to management regarding onsite activityNegotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite worksIdentifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.Role Requirements: At least 1 year experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry.Tertiary qualifications within building and constructionTrade background will be highly advantageousDemonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledgeAbility to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detailStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Proven track record of problem-solvingTeam playerExcellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages.Commitment to WHS principles and practicesThe key benefits for you: Market-leading and highly competitive salary package on offer (based on experience)Working within a very supportive and collaborative team environmentAn excellent company culture that promotes teamwork and collaborationGenuine career progression opportunities and growthContinued on-the-job training and developmentClose-knit teamHow to Apply?
