The Company: Our client is an award-winning and highly established volume home building company and due to continued growth are looking to hire an experienced volume home building construction supervisor to join their busy construction team in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:Manage a number of new home builds in construction concurrently.Up to 15 houses in construction at any one time on average.Combination of single and double-story homes.Allocate materials and trades to job sites.Ensure timely construction of new homes within budget.Effectively communicate with clients, trades and management in a professional manner.Construction of new homes are carried out safely and comply with company processes and procedures.Inspecting completed projects to ensure a high standard of quality.Maintaining and updating company systems.Reporting to management regarding onsite activity.Negotiating with subcontractors and coordinating onsite works.Identifying and resolving problems throughout the construction process.Role Requirements:At least 1 year experience as a Construction Site Supervisor within the volume home building industry.Tertiary qualifications within building and construction.Trade background will be highly advantageous.Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge.Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and ability to meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail.Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Ability to build a strong rapport with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.Proven track record of problem-solving.Team player.Excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages.Commitment to WHS principles and practices.The key benefits for you:Market-leading and highly competitive salary package on offer (based on experience).Working within a very supportive and collaborative team environment.An excellent company culture that promotes teamwork and collaboration.Genuine career progression opportunities and growth.Continued on-the-job training and development.Close-knit team.How to Apply?Via the Seek Website: Submit your updated resume using the 'Apply for this job' button at the top of this page and continue to follow the on-screen instructions.
