The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team responsible for providing passenger and baggage screening services at the airport. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Screening of passengers Screening of checked in baggage Freight screening Security checks of ASIC cards Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders Complete incident reports as required Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all stakeholder enquiries To be successful, applicants must reside in Port Headland.
Skills and experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid WA driver's licence and working rights Cert II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) preferred (we will train the right candidate for FREE in this qualification) Ability to obtain an ASIC Clearance (we will also fund this application) If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
